O UIVO E O GRITO
O Uivo e o Grito é um projecto de reflexão sobre o percurso da ESAD.CR, apresentado na exposição 90/10, a propósito dos 20 anos de ensino artístico desta instituição.
Para esta exposição o colectivo avançou com a recuperação da Moldura Dourada localizada no átrio principal da escola, e simultaneamente para a produção de um gráfico/mapa com os momentos considerados relevantes para a história da escola. Este gráfico baseou-se numa pesquisa que reuniu entrevistas, fotos, depoimentos de ex-alunos e professores, para uma publicação de nome auf auf, ai que te gritas.
A acção de desvelar em 2011 a obra Moldura Dourada do ex-aluno Balin, prende-se com a sua história no contexto da ESAD.CR.
A peça tinha sido produzida no início dos anos 2000, apoiada e financiada pela então direcção, sob o ideal de que a instituição são os alunos e que estes deviam ter uma participação activa na sua construção material e imaterial.
Alguns anos mais tarde, e por ordem de uma nova direcção, a Moldura Dourada foi totalmente coberta e tapada, dando início a uma nova fase de modernização da escola, seguida da necessária ‘limpeza’ de práticas e objectos representativos das gerações anteriores.
Durante este processo, estratégias semelhantes foram aplicadas a outras obras, com o intuito de criar uma imagem ‘profissional’, limpa e eventualmente ‘internacional’ - modernização que acabaria por mudar o paradigma do estudante de arte, tornando-o irremediavelmente no utente da instituição de ensino superior da arte.
Pizz Buin trouxe assim à discussão mais um ciclo de movimentações políticas na base do branqueamento da história.
